The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) aims to foster the responsible development of AI based on the principles of human rights, inclusion, diversity, innovation and economic growth. Launched in June 2020, PMIA is an international, multi-stakeholder initiative bringing together leading experts from science, industry, civil society, international organizations and government. The annual PMIA Summit, led by Inria in 2021, will take place on November 11-12 in Paris.

## A reflexion on the AI of tomorrow within the international community
Launched in June 2020, the **GPAI is an international, multi-stakeholder initiative** bringing together leading experts from science, industry, civil society, international organizations, and government.
In November 2021, France will take over the presidency of the GPAI from Canada at a summit in Paris, organized by Inria. This summit will take place over two days and will include :
- sessions dedicated to the five PMIA working groups: responsible AI, Data Governance, Future of Work, Innovation and Commercialization, AI and the Pandemic Response;
- additional sessions with international experts on the following topics: AI and Earth Observation, AI and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Regulation of AI;
- a session organized by Inria Chile on AI in Latin America.
