 The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit was held on 3-4 December 2024 at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade.


 The Summit was jointly organised by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the Office for IT and eGovernment and the United Nations Development Programme, with the support of the President of the Republic of Serbia and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).


 The Summit brought together leading global artificial intelligence (AI) experts, GPAI member country representatives, international organisations, industry leaders and members of the academic community.


 This year’s Summit focused on the responsible development of AI and leveraging it to benefit society as a whole.


 The Republic of Serbia, the incoming chair of GPAI in 2024, was elected to assume the role of its lead chair in 2025.


 GPAI is an international initiative established to address the responsible development and use of AI.
