On May 21–22, 2024, the Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom [cohosted](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axATDl8F3Qo) the second AI summit following the United Kingdom’s [launch](https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/ai-safety-summit-2023-chairs-statement-2-november/chairs-summary-of-the-ai-safety-summit-2023-bletchley-park) of the series in 2023. The “AI Seoul Summit,” as it was billed, gathered leaders from government, industry, and civil society to discuss global collaboration on AI safety, innovation, and inclusivity.
