Attila Ujvari
Executive Director
Attila brings a unique blend of strategic vision, entrepreneurial drive, and community-building expertise to lead CEEALAR's transformation into a high-impact EA hub. With extensive experience in R&D leadership at global organizations, the startup ecosystem, education, customer service, and military service background, he specializes in creating environments where talent, ambition, and purpose align.
Under his leadership, CEEALAR is evolving into a professionalized incubator—a genuinely welcoming space where people want to stay—offering outcome-driven programs, strategic partnerships, alumni networks, and comprehensive support for effective altruism researchers and practitioners.
His vision is to build an adaptive organization that enables individuals to address the most significant problems of their time. Regardless of what the future brings, as long as there are humans, there will always be a need for community—for discovering who we are, finding purpose, fostering collaboration essential to tackling global challenges, and cultivating dedicated people to work on solutions as they evolve.

David Staley
David is an a utodidact, endlessly curious and passionate about (too) many things, and has spent over a decade trying to piece together a functional understanding of the global systems that are shaping our future. Now focused on the very local systems and dynamics that shape and support communities like CEEALAR.
Elisa Paka
Elisa is a generalist with a profound interest in the root causes of catastrophic and existential risks. She is passionate about enhancing individual and collective capacities for interpersonal interactions, and fostering sustainable, high-performance groups and communities. She also has a long-standing interest in contemplative and relational practices.

Greg has been involved in EA since the early days of the movement, signing the Giving What We Can pledge in 2010.
Dušan D. Nešić
Dušan is a professor of Finance and Economics at Emlyon Business School and a consultant in the fields of Communication, Operations, and Education. He is a systems thinker with a passion for making the world a better place. In the past, he has volunteered with AIESEC, and he is the President of the Rotary Club Belgrade-Dedinje. He has founded EA Serbia and SpEAk and coaches EA Organizations on how to communicate their knowledge efficiently.
Kyle Smith
Kyle is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Mississippi State University. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Alabama, with a research focus on nonprofit accounting. He primarily studies private foundations and how donors utilize accounting reports, and he is working on ways to integrate EA ideas on effective giving into his research.
