Jan Leike — Role / Title: VP of Alignment Science, Anthropic

NoteThe source directly confirms Jan Leike's role at Anthropic. He explicitly states 'I lead the Alignment Science team at Anthropic.' The claim specifies 'VP of Alignment Science' while the source says 'lead the Alignment Science team.' The title 'VP' is not explicitly stated in the source, but 'lead' is consistent with a VP-level role. The source appears current (references 2024 TIME magazine listing and recent 2024 publications), which aligns with the claim's 'as of 2024-05' timeframe. The minor discrepancy is that the source doesn't use the exact title 'VP' but rather describes the leadership role, which is a common variation in how titles are presented on personal websites versus formal organizational charts. This is confirmed rather than contradicted.
