Earlier in 2016, we recommended a series of grants to support corporate cage-free campaigns (including a previous grant to Mercy For Animals) and wrote on our blog about why we see this as a promising strategy to promote farm animal welfare. The present funding, part of a new series of grants focusing on international cage-free advocacy, will support Mercy For Animals’ work in Latin America and Asia.1 We do not plan to write in more detail about this grant at this time.
