[Housing Policy Reform] Grant investigator: Alexander Berger This page was reviewed but not written by the grant investigator. Greater Greater Washington staff also reviewed this page prior to publication. The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $250,000 over two years to Greater Greater Washington to continue our support for its work on housing affordability and land use reform. We think it is mostly too early to tell whether its work has had any impact on housing construction or affordability, though we see the coalition it has helped coordinate in support of including more housing in D.C.'s revised Comprehensive Plan as a promising initial step.1   Sources Document Source Greater Greater Washington, Grant Renewal Request April 2017 Source Vox, "A promising new coalition looks to rewrite the politics of urban housing" Source (archive)
