[Global Health R&D] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of £3,528,351 (approximately $4,551,974 at the time of conversion) over four years to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to support a randomized controlled trial in Pakistan, Nigeria, and Tanzania to evaluate the effectiveness of tranexamic acid, a generic drug, in treating anemia.
