Notes

[Farm Animal Welfare] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $55,000 over 2.5 years to the Commonwealth Veterinary Association to support its work on farm animal welfare. The grant will provide funding to train two researchers at the University of Melbourne's Animal Welfare Science Centre, form a new animal welfare centre at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute Of Veterinary Education and Research, and assess and develop the work of the Animal Welfare Research Centre in Bangalore. This follows our August 2022 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
