The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $25,000 to Smart Justice CA via The Advocacy Fund to support lobbying on criminal justice bills during the 2017 California legislative session. This grant was made by a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, to which we occasionally make funding recommendations.
