[Innovation Policy] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $649,176 over two years to the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to support their new Science for Progress initiative, which will conduct research and randomized evaluations related to innovation and science. This initiative will be co-led by Professor Paul Niehaus and Professor Heidi Williams. This falls within our work on global health and wellbeing.
