Notes
[Human Health and Wellbeing] Open Philanthropy recommended a gift of $500,000 over 1.5 years to support research led by Professor Michael Fischbach on the use of modified commensal skin bacteria as a vaccine. If successful, this research could demonstrate the potential of a novel immunization method. This follows our December 2021 support and falls within our focus area of scientific research, specifically within our interest in advancing human health and wellbeing.
