Notes
[Global Health & Wellbeing] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $75,000 to the National Academy of Sciences to support a study on the future of biological databases. This work will engage dozens of academic, private sector, and non-profit experts involved in the creation, curation, and use of biomedical databases and related data tools. The goal of the study is to produce a report outlining actions to increase database sustainability. This falls within our focus area of scientific research.
