Notes
[Farm Animal Welfare] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $1,919,600 over two years to FAI Farms to support training for farmers, industry workers, and government officials on deploying assessment protocols and techniques designed to improve welfare for farmed aquatic animals. FAI Farms works in Brazil and Thailand, and will soon expand its work into Egypt, Vietnam, and Honduras. This follows our April 2019 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare, specifically within our interest in fish welfare.
