[Broiler Chicken Welfare] Grant investigator: Lewis Bollard This page was reviewed but not written by the grant investigator. RSPCA staff also reviewed this page prior to publication. Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of £329,000 (approximately $425,000 at the time of conversion) over two years to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) to support its outreach to improve the welfare of broiler chickens in the United Kingdom. RSPCA plans to use these funds to support corporate campaigns, industry events and awards, advertising, reports and materials, and other outreach expenses. This follows our May 2018 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
