Notes
[Science Supporting Biosecurity and Pandemic Preparedness] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $181,749 to the National Animal Disease Center, part of the USDA, to provide support for a collaborative project with Amy Vincent at the USDA and Professor Jeffrey Glenn at Stanford University. The aim of the project is to test the efficacy of a new antiviral therapy that Professor Glenn developed to treat influenza. This follows our July 2020 support and falls within our focus area of scientific research, specifically within our interest in science supporting biosecurity and pandemic preparedness.
