[Global Health R&D] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of £2,256,990 (approximately $2,971,954 at the time of conversion) over two years to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to support the extension of an ongoing randomized controlled trial (RCT) led by Dr. Jackie Cook. The RCT is aimed at evaluating the epidemiological impact and cost-effectiveness of distributing mosquito nets through school net programs in Côte d'Ivoire. This falls within our focus area of global health R&D.
