The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $25,000 to the Civil Rights Corps for general support. In the time since our December 2016 grant, Civil Rights Corps has been successful raising funds to support litigation of cases about money bail, probation, prosecutorial misconduct, and other matters relevant to decarceration. This is a discretionary grant and falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform.
