[Scientific Research] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $50,000 to Engineers Without Borders International (EWB-I) to support work on updating the organization’s strategic plan, including by hiring an analyst to help collect expert insights on how engineering innovations can deliver the most impact. We believe that EWB-I has a strong track record of educating young engineers about the impact they can have on local and global problems. This falls within our focus area of scientific research.
