Notes
[Global Catastrophic Risks] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $400,000 to the Berkeley Existential Risk Initiative (BERI) to support their collaboration with the Stanford Existential Risks Initiative (SERI) on SERI’s summer fellowship program. This program aims to match promising students with mentors in the field of existential risk reduction. This follows our March 2021 support for the SERI summer fellowship program, and falls within our work on global catastrophic risks.
