[Human Health and Wellbeing] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $400,000 to Yale University to support research related to atherosclerosis, stroke, and cardiovascular function. This funding will go towards the purchase of a small CT scanner to view the internal organs of small experimental animals, which will both speed up research and reduce costs over the long run. This falls within our focus area of scientific research, specifically within our interest in advancing human health and wellbeing.
