[Global Catastrophic Risks] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $441,613 to the Centre for the Governance of AI (GovAI) to support AI governance field-building. GovAI intends to use this funding to conduct AI governance research and to develop a talent pipeline for those interested in entering the field. This follows our December 2021 support and falls within our focus area of potential risks from advanced artificial intelligence.
