International Rescue Committee — USAID Placement

[Global Aid Policy] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $1,071,597 over two years to the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to support the placement of a senior IRC staffer at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) via the Intergovernmental Personnel Act. This staffer will identify and promote ways to increase the cost efficiency of USAID programs. The grant will also cover the generation of cost evidence, utilizing the Dioptra tool, by five USAID implementing partners. This falls within our focus area of global aid policy. The grant amount was updated in January 2025.
