[Broiler Chicken Welfare] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $300,000 over two years to Animal Rights Center Japan (ARCJ) to support their work on corporate campaigns to improve broiler chicken and layer hen welfare in Japan. In the last two years, ARCJ has successfully secured cage-free commitments from many Japanese companies. This follows our July 2019 support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare, specifically within our interest in broiler chicken welfare.
