[South Asian Air Quality] Open Philanthropy recommended a gift of $73,125 to the University of Chicago to support research led by Dr. Christa Hasenkopf on identifying gaps in current air quality monitoring. In her analysis, Dr. Hasenkopf will aim to identify countries with high pollution levels according to satellite data, but no public data from monitors and limited or no relevant funding. This falls within our focus area of South Asian air quality.
