Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $150,000 to the Texas Freedom Network to support the Texas Rising program's work on criminal justice reform. Texas Rising plans to use these funds to continue organizing young people (under 30 years old) to push for prosecutorial accountability. This follows our April 2018 support and falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform.
