Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $100,000 to YIMBY Law for general support. YIMBY Law is a new organization that advocates for more available and affordable housing in California and pursues litigation to ensure compliance with state housing laws. Its founder, Sonja Trauss, pursued a similar strategy as part of her previous work at the California Renters Legal Advocacy and Education Fund. This falls within our focus area of land use reform.
