[GiveWell-Recommended Charities] Note: This grant was awarded while the Open Philanthropy Project was a partnership between GiveWell and Good Ventures. Good Ventures awarded a grant of $250,000 to the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) for its Universal Salt Iodization program in December 2014, in recognition of the program's earning a "standout charity" ranking from GiveWell in 2014.
